Meet the Team

Dan Roberts, Host of CIOW Podcast and

CEO of Ouellette & Associates Consulting, Inc.

Dan Roberts has mentored, studied and partnered with thousands of CIOs, technology executives and digital leaders over the past three decades. One of the most influential thought leaders in the space, he firmly believes in the potential of people to shape the future of technology. CIOs appreciate his ability to energize, challenge their thinking, and build and sustain a world-class IT culture and future-ready workforce.

Dan’s company, Ouellette & Associates, coined the term “Developing the Human Side of Technology” back in 1984, when technology and technologists hid safely behind glass walls. Today, it’s abundantly clear: Technology is the business — and there has never been a better time to be in the IT profession. Dan is passionate about connecting great people with great ideas and has dedicated his career to ensuring leaders and team members have the mindsets, skillsets, and tools to elevate the narrative of IT and innovate the future of the business. A student of leadership, he also writes and speaks about the common traits of these game-changing executives. He’s found that they’re consistently able to cut through the noise of the day and stay laser-focused on what he refers to as the 7Cs of top leaders: Customer Obsession, Culture, Cultivate, Courage, Change, Collaboration and Communication.
